Ok, let’s go back to more pure Sci-Fi for today’s Slightly Forgotten Sci-Fi. Executives didn’t let the grass grow under their feet following up their hit movie by William F. Nolan with a tv show a year later. The tale of the Runner and the Sandman trying to find Sanctuary outside the City of Domes has our two heroes joined by an Android they picked up in the pilot episode. Bad guy Sandman Frances is told by a cabal of heretofore unseen old guys who actually run the City, that he can join them if he brings in the fugitives.
